BLOUNT COUNTY, AL : Man identified in Blount Co crash involving school bus on Monday, 17th April 2023

One person was killed in a crash that involved a school bus in Blount County Monday afternoon.

Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey confirmed the two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. in the Hayden area.

The wreck involved a school bus with approximately 10 children on board. None of the passengers on the bus were harmed.

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle was killed. The driver has been identified as 60-year-old Gary B. Reid.
