Greenville, NC : Man killed in hit-and-run crash on Sunday, 1st April 2018

An area man is dead in an apparent hit and run that occurred on Sunday morning on U.S. 264 near Bethel, according to State Highway Patrol officials.
The body of Taryn Moyer, 22, of Bethel was found by a passerby and reported to authorities at 7:35 a.m. on Sunday. Troopers noted that Moyer’s body was found near the area of impact. The case currently is under investigation as officials are attempting to identify the vehicle.
Authorities are unsure if Moyer was walking on the road or on the shoulder of the roadway.
Officials said a collision reconstruction team was on the scene Monday, attempting to piece together the incident.
