RANKIN COUNTY, MS : Five injured in Highway 49 rollover crash on Monday, 17th October 2016

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle crash on Highway 49 south of Star Road. A Ford Explorer with two adults and three children inside was traveling northbound when a tire blew causing the driver to lose control and overturn.

The driver and the front passenger were airlifted to UMMC with life-threatening injuries. The three children were taken to UMMC with injuries.
