SEFFNER, FL : Two people dead and four others were injured in a one-vehicle crash on early Saturday morning August 2nd 2014
Two people were killed and four others injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred along Interstate 4 in Seffner early Saturday morning.
Among the deceased, a 5-month-old girl.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report a 2008 Hyundai Entourage driven by 29-year-old Ruben Molina of Wesley Chapel was traveling west on I-4 approaching Mango Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons.
The Entourage veered off the roadway onto the grass shoulder. It went across a concrete culvert, up an embankment and into a chain link fence. The vehicle turned over several times and came to rest in the parking lot of a nearby business.
Amanda Lynn Osborn, 30, of Tampa, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Three children – ages 7, 9 and 5 months – were transported to Tampa General Hospital, where the youngest, the infant Madilyna Molina, later died. The other two children, Ruben D. Molina, 9, and Elijah D. Molina, 7, both of Wesley Chapel, were last listed in critical condition.
Molina and another female adult passenger suffered minor injuries and were also transported to TGH. FHP investigators don’t know if alcohol or any other form of impairment played a factor in the crash and they aren’t sure who if any of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
