Winchendon, MA : Teen killed, two injured in in a one-car crash on Ash Street Tuesday night, March 7, 2017

A 17-year-old girl was killed and two others were injured in a one-car crash on Ash Street Tuesday night.

Police were called to 264 Ash St. about 8:45 p.m. and found three people inside a car that had slammed into a tree. The 17-year-old girl, in the back seat, was in cardiac arrest, police said in a news release.

The three victims, including Austin Bogosian, 18, and a teenage boy, were taken by ambulance to Heywood Hospital in Gardner, police said.

The girl, whom a relative identified as Ana LaRose, of Winchendon, was pronounced dead. The other two in the car are expected to survive, according to police Lt. Kevin Wolski.

Police believe Mr. Bogosian was driving at the time of the crash and that speed may have been a factor. Skid marks lead from the roadway to the tree where the car came to rest.

All three victims are current or former students at Murdock High School, police said.
