Pewaukee, WI : Bicyclist killed in collision with semi in Waukesha County on Monday, July 11, 2016

A bicyclist was killed Monday when he rode into the path of a semi in the City of Pewaukee, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

The crash was reported shortly after 3 p.m. at Redford Blvd. and Watertown Road, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

According to the release, both the semi and the bicyclist, a 59-year-old man, were westbound on Watertown when the bicycle traveled into the path of the semi as the semi turned north on Redford.

The crash remained under investigation, according to the release.
