CANTON, ME : Driver, 22, dies in Canton crash on Monday, 27h May 2024

A man from Oxford County died Monday after the vehicle he was driving went off the road in Canton.

Jared Bernard, 22, of Peru was killed in the crash, the Oxford County Sheriff's Office said in a release. He was the only person in the vehicle.

It happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Route 108, also referred to as Turner Street, the release stated.
