Fort Myers ,FL :Two People killed and another injured after two-vehicle crash on Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard on Tuesday Morning ,September 15th 2015

Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash on Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard and Michigan Avenue, according to Fort Myers police.

The victims have been identified as Alyssa Malee Carr, 22, and Kenya Ashley Ozeata, 19, both of Fort Myers.

The crash, between a box truck and a Hyundai four-door sedan, happened just after 4:30 a.m. A third person, Donavan Lee Meeks, 22, remains hospitalized in critical condition. The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.

The intersection was shut down for several hours while officers investigated
