Bexley, OH :Man killed and woman injured in Bexley car crash on Thursday ,July 9th 2015

A man was killed and a woman injured after a crash in Bexley early this evening.

According to Sgt. R. Kenefick of the Bexley Police Department, the crash occurred about 6:30 p.m., when the man’s car rear-ended a car on E. Broad Street in Bexley.

Kenefick said the 65-year-old man, whose name hasn’t yet been released, was driving east on E. Broad and first swideswiped a car at Parkview Avenue.

The man then kept going, went through a stoplight at the intersection of Drexel Avenue, and rear-ended the other car.

The woman in that car, whose name also isn’t yet being released, was taken to Ohio State University Medical Center East, then transported to Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State.

The man was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he died shortly before 7:15 p.m.
