SUGAR CREEK, IL : A motorcyclist died morning after crashing into a tree in Sugar Creek Township on April, Monday 24th 2017
A motorcyclist died Monday morning after crashing into a tree in Sugar Creek Township, according to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office.
Walworth County Sheriff’s deputies and Elkhorn Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the scene of the crash about 11:37 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Highway H and Sugar Creek Road, officials said.
Joshua Faber, 32, of Delavan, Wisconsin, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office, the sheriff said.
Speed is thought to be a factor in the crash. An initial investigation shows Faber was riding east on Sugar Creek Road and didn’t stop at a stop sign at Highway H. He continued across the highway and went into a ditch and then hit the tree, officials said.
The investigation is ongoing.
