Canton, MI : Garden City man killed in 4-car rollover crash on I-275 near Cherry Hill Road in Canton on October 3, 2014

Ronald Stanley Kaczynski, a 22-year-old man from Garden City, was killed Friday in a four-car crash on I-275. Police said around 9 p.m. Friday, traffic was slowing near the beginning of a construction zone on the highway near Cherry Hill Road. Kaczynski was unable to stop his GMC Jimmy and hit a 2013 Mercedes from behind. The crash caused the Mercedes to hit a third vehicle, police said. After the collision, Kaczynski's car was hit from behind by a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse and overturned. Canton Fire Department removed Kaczynski from his car and pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver of the Traverse received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. There were no other injuries reported. The northbound lanes of I-275 reopened at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The investigation into the crash continues. Source : 22-year-old killed in 4-car crash near construction zone
