A 36-year-old suburban Cincinnati woman is dead after an SUV rolled backward, pinning her against a pillar in her garage.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says Erica Massa was standing in her Anderson Township garage Monday evening when a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee began to roll backward and hit her. As the vehicle continued to roll, Massa became pinned between the vehicle door and the garage pillar. No one was in the Jeep at the time. The sheriff's office describes it as a "driverless vehicle."
The Anderson Township Fire Department responded and took Massa to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
