A 22-year-old man from Circle died in a single-vehicle crash in Eastern Montana on Sunday morning, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m., when the man's southbound pickup apparently failed to negotiate a turn near mile marker 15 on Montana Highway 252, according to MHP.
The vehicle slid sideways off the road, according to the MHP report, overturned in a ditch and ejected the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. No one else was in the pickup at the time, according to MHP, and no other vehicles were involved.
Speed and alcohol are suspected to be factors in the crash.
McCone County Sheriff Dave Harris, who also serves as the county coroner, is responsible for notifying next of kin before releasing the man's name. He was not immediately available Monday morning.
