A pedestrian is dead after a Monday afternoon crash in southeast Houston.
Officers responded to the call just after 4 p.m. at South Wayside and Gulf Freeway, Houston police said.
It's not clear what sparked the wreck, but KPRC reported that the driver of the vehicle had been detained.
