Cromwell, OK : Sapulpa man dies in a rollover crash during high-speed pursuit in Seminole County on Sunday, May 8, 2016

A Sapulpa man is dead after a rollover crash during a pursuit, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Alexander Larmon, 44, of Sapulpa, died at the crash site.

About 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Larmon was speeding east on Interstate 40, about 3 miles north and a half-mile east of Cromwell, in Seminole County, troopers said.

A trooper in pursuit attempted a vehicle maneuver which sent the pickup Larmon was driving out of control. The pickup rolled several times and landed on its top, throwing Larmon from the cab, troopers said.

The trooper, Jonathan Earls, 26, was not hurt in the incident, troopers said.
