TRAVIS COUNTY, TX : Auto-pedestrian crash causes traffic delays on US 290 in Travis County on Thursday, 29th August 2024

A deadly auto-pedestrian crash caused extensive traffic delays in western Travis County on Thursday morning.

Texas DPS says a trooper responded to the crash around 6:50 a.m. August 30 near the 10100 block of US 290 between Dripping Springs and Oak Hill.

DPS says a vehicle was traveling westbound when the pedestrian was struck. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
