Texarkana,AR : One injured when ambulance wrecks on way to emergency on December, Monday 11th 2017

One person was injured Monday in a two-vehicle accident that involved a LifeNet ambulance.

The accident happened about 3:54 pm at Farm to Market Road 1840 and County Road 4004 in New Boston, Texas, according to information from LifeNet.

At the time of the collision, the ambulance was responding to a call for assistance and was occupied by two LifeNet employees, neither of whom was injured. No patients were on board.

Immediately after the wreck, more ambulances responded to the scene, along with firefighters and law enforcement.

LifeNet took one person from the scene to CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System for treatment.

The accident is under investigation.
