Lima,OH : 2-vehicle crash disrupts traffic on September, Sunday 10th 2017

At about 9:25 p.m. Sunday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the American Township Fire Department were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of Eastown Road and West Elm Street.

Responders found a Dodge sedan overturned on Eastown Road in front of Rite Aid Pharmacy, while a Chevrolet SUV had come to a stop on Elm Street.

While the crash left a great deal of debris on the roadway, no one was injured to the point of requiring transportation to the hospital, according to both the state patrol and the American Township Fire Department. Identities of those involved in the crash were unavailable late Sunday.

Responders were still at the scene clearing the area as of 9:45 p.m. The crash remained under investigation.
