Golden,CO : One person died in a single-vehicle crash on August, Monday 7th 2017

One person died in a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon after their vehicle rolled off the side of Lookout Mountain.

Lookout Mountain Road was closed in both directions as of 7 p.m. The crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. Monday near Windy Saddle Park.

Colorado State Patrol says the vehicle was a Dodge Ram pickup, and the driver was a man. A spokesperson told Denver7 the man hit a guardrail as the road curved to the left, then rolled down the embankment.

The man has not been identified at this time.
