Anchorage, AK : Woman suffers injuries in Anchorage pickup truck-wheelchair crash on Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 2014

Anchorage police are investigating a crash between a pickup and a motorized wheelchair. A woman in the wheelchair was struck Wednesday afternoon in the Rogers Park neighborhood of east Anchorage. Police spokeswoman Dani Myren says the call on the crash came in at 12:23 p.m. She says the woman was "semi-responsive" and taken to a hospital.
