Dayton, OH : Identity released in fatal Germantown Street crash on Thursday October 22 2015
A 24-year-old Dayton woman died in a one-vehicle car accident on Germantown Street early this morning.
The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the crash fatality victim as Angelaca Pleasant, 24, a passenger in the Ford Taurus. Three other occupants of the same vehicle were taken to a hospital, according to police.
Police said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a utility pole and wrought iron fence in front of the Dayton Job Corps.
Pleasant was declared dead at the scene.
People who said they witnessed the crash at about 2:30 a.m. said the Taurus was speeding. One witness claimed the Taurus was driving on the wrong side of the four-lane road before the crash.
