West Valley City, UT : Bountiful woman died in overpass on I-215 on Friday October 2 2015

A Bountiful woman died Friday after drifting off the road and striking an overpass on I-215.
Kimberly Ann Buchanan, 21, was driving north on I-215 about 3:30 a.m. when her Mitsubishi Lancer began drifting to the right near 3200 South, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.
The car went off the side of the road before travelling up a sloped section of an overpass, flying into the air and crashing into the bottom of the bridge, according to the UHP. The car landed on its roof when it hit the ground.
Buchanan, who was not wearing a seat belt, was killed in the crash.
Witnesses told troopers that Buchanan was travelling about 70 mph when she went off the road. She did not appear to brake before the crash.
