Utica, N.Y : 2 injured in Genesee Street crash on Tuesday, January 3, 2017
Two people were injured Tuesday when their cars collided at the intersection of Genesee Street and Cornelia Place, city police said.
The crash was reported shortly after 10 a.m., and initial scanner reports said three cars were involved.
Utica Police spokesman Lt. Bryan Coromato later said one car was heading north on Genesee Street when it was struck by a second vehicle pulling onto the street. Those two cars then struck a parked car, he said.
The drivers of the vehicles that collided were both taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of possible minor injuries, Coromato said.
