PORTLAND, OR : Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run crash in Northeast Portland on Monday, 21st October 2024

A bicyclist died after being hit by a vehicle early Monday morning in Northeast Portland. The driver of the vehicle took off, according to Portland police.

Officers responded to reports of a bicyclist hit by a vehicle around 2:37 a.m. near the intersection of Northeast 128th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street. Portland police have not provided any information about the vehicle that was involved in the deadly hit-and-run crash. The bureau has not released the name of the bicyclist who died, but in a news release, said the person was a man.
