ROFF, OK : A Sulphur woman was killed in a collision on May, Thursday 4th 2017

A Sulphur woman was killed in a collision on State Highway 1 at the Chickasaw Turnpike in Pontotoc County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Lucenda G. Duffey, 69, of Sulphur, was dead at the scene about 5:50 p.m. Thursday about 4 miles north of Roff, the patrol said.

Duffey was driving a car that stopped at a stop sign then failed to yield to an oncoming tractor-trailer driven by Kelly D. Robnett, 50, of Ada, the patrol reports.

A boy and girl, both 10, of Sulphur, who were passengers in Duffey's car, were flown to OU Medical Center. The girl was reported in critical condition and the boy was reported in fair condition. The names of the children were not released by the patrol.

Robnett was not injured. Seat belts were in use in both vehicles.
