Manatee County, FL : Man seriously injured in I-75 crash on Saturday morning, April 16, 2016

A man was seriously injured when the Ford Ranger he was riding in blew a tire on Interstate 75 in Manatee County and overturned Saturday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol Reports.

Ricky Arseneau, 49, of Gibsonton, was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The truck’s driver, Michelle Arseneau, also 49, was taken to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center with minor injuries.

The FHP reports the two were traveling south on I-75 in the center lane near mile marker 217 when their truck's rear right tire blew out at about 8:42 a.m.

The truck traveled off of the road and onto the grassy shoulder, where it overturned.

Michelle Arseneau was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, not having proof of insurance and having an expired tag.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
