GRUNDY, VA : A 7-year-old boy in Buchanan County on Sunday, 10th June 2018

An UTV crash which fatally injured a 7-year-old boy in Buchanan County is being investigated by the Virginia State Police.

Trooper J.A. Boyd is investigating a fatal UTV crash in Buchanan County, Corinne N. Geller, public relations director for the Virginia State police. The crash occurred Sunday at 4:15 p.m., on Route 647 approximately 4.4 miles south of Route 646.

A 2014 Polaris 900 RZR was traveling along Route 647 when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a utility pole and then went over an embankment, Geller said.
