Edward J. Lambing, 31, of Potosi, died he turned his three-wheeler into the path of a car in Washington County on Sunday afternoon, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Lambing was eastbound on Highway 8 and Edgehill Drive on the shoulder of the road just before 4 p.m. He turned in front of an eastbound Chevrolet Corvette driven by Larry W. Brewer, 70, of Park Hills, Mo. The three-wheeler struck the front of the car, the patrol said.

Lambing was pronounced dead Sunday evening at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The driver suffered minor injuries. A passenger in the car, Karen R. Brewer, 56, of Park Hills, suffered moderate injuries.
