Berea, KY : Richard Tillery, 18, dead after losing control of car and hitting a tree in Madison County on Monday, December 1, 2014

An 18-year-old was killed after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree in Madison County, according to Kentucky State Police. Richard Tillery, of Berea, was driving a 1997 BMW south on U.S. 25 around 4 p.m. Monday when he lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic and went off the left side of the roadway hitting the tree near the Rockcastle County line. Tillery was pronounced dead at the scene. The Madison County Coroner said Tillery was not wearing his seatbelt.
