JONESBORO, AR : JPD officer involved in crash on Southwest Drive at Christian Valley Road on Wednesday, 15th August 2018

A Jonesboro police officer was involved in a crash just before 8 a.m. Wednesday on Southwest Drive at Christian Valley Road.

E-911 Director Jeff Presley told Region 8 News that the officer was not injured in the crash.

The officer, according to Presley, was working school traffic when a vehicle pulled out in front of him.

The collision caused significant traffic congestion and blocked the roadway.
