Ocala, FL : Motorcyclist injured in crash at Northeast 11th Avenue on Tuesday, 18th February, 2020

A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning in a crash on Silver Springs Boulevard east of downtown Ocala.

The rider, whose name has not yet been released, was headed west on the boulevard when an eastbound vehicle turned in front of the bike at the light at Northeast 11th Avenue, according to Ocala police.

The car had a green light but not a green arrow, police said.

The rider was taken by ambulance to Ocala Regional Medical Center for treatment of lower-body injuries. The police investigation continues.
