A 25-year-old Kensington man died in a rollover south of Kensington early Saturday morning.

The victim was Andrew Ernest Zupan, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened at about 6 a.m. on Pope Douglas Road SW. The sheriff's office responded and upon arrival, deputies determined that Zupan was driving a 1999 Ford Taurus east when the car left road, went into the ditch and rolled.

Zupan, the lone occupant and driver, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office. Assisting agencies were the State Patrol, Kensington Fire and Rescue, and the Pope County Sheriff's Office.
