Lake County, FL : DeBary man charged with DUI after hitting, killing pedestrian Saturday night on State Road 46 in Lake County on July 26, 2014

Investigators in Lake County say a man hit and killed a pedestrian while driving under the influence.
Police say 43-year-old Robert Wenrick was traveling on State Road 46, east of Wekiva River Road, when he suddenly encountered a pedestrian in the middle of the road.

Police say they have no idea why 20-year-old Conrad Berry was standing in the middle of the road.
Authorities say Wenrick then hit and killed Berry.
Wenrick has been arrested and charged with DUI and failure to submit to a breath test.
The crash is still under investigation.
