WARREN, PA : Motorcyclist killed on Route 6 between Deadmans Run Road and Route 958 in Freehold Township on Monday, 23rd July 2018

Pennsylvania State Police troopers continued their investigation Monday into a crash involving a motorcycle and a motorhome that killed the motorcyclist in Warren County on Sunday afternoon.

Troopers did not identify the victim in the crash but said he is a 57-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened on Sunday at about 3 p.m. on Route 6 between Deadmans Run Road and Route 958 in Freehold Township. According to troopers, the motorcyclist, driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson, was traveling east on Route 6 when he traveled into the westbound lane for unknown reasons and struck a 2000 Ford motorhome head-on.

The operator of the motorhome, a 73-year-old man whose name was not released, suffered some minor injuries to his arms and was taken to Corry Memorial Hospital for treatment, troopers said.
