2 die in crash near Culpeper Virginia
Virginia State Police say two Rhoadesville women died after their car rear-ended a truck hauling a 24-foot trailer on U.S. 29 near Culpeper.Sgt. Les Tyler says the driver, 24-year-old Emily Nicole Hess, died as she was being transported to a hospital after the Friday morning crash. A front-seat passenger, 46-year-old Linda Kay Sweetster, died at the scene.
Tyler says two backseat passengers, 34-year-old Dallas Christopher Young and a 10-month-old girl, were injured and were airlifted to a Charlottesville hospital.He says none of the occupants in the 2000 Toyota Echol were wearing seatbelts, and the baby seat was not properly secured.
