COLUMBIA, SC : First Alert Traffic Collision on Sunset Boulevard on Thursday, 27th April 2023

All lanes on Sunset Boulevard on U.S.-378 have reopened after a collision caused the closure.

Lexington Police said the collision has been cleared from the roadway; however, an investigation is ongoing.

Police report the collision appears to have been caused by a driver who lost control of his vehicle due to a medical incident.

Police said the vehicle struck another and both left the roadway hitting a third vehicle in a nearby business parking lot on Sunset Boulevard.
