Newnan ,GA : Three-car accident closes Hwy. 29 on September, Saturday 9th 2017

A three-car accident temporarily closed Hwy. 29 in Grantvillle early Saturday morning.

The wreck occurred in the 5500 block of South Hwy. 29 around 5:40 a.m.
Two patients were flown by air ambulance to Atlanta Medical Center while one was transported by ground to a local hospital.

Two of the patients are from LaGrange and the other is a resident of Grantville, according to Chief Steve Whitlock of the Grantville Police Department.

The names and conditions of the patients have not been released at this time. The Georgia State Patrol is continuing to investigate the accident.
