COLUMBUS, OH : 1 dead following crash on I-270 near south Columbus on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 270 near south Columbus on Wednesday, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

Just before 6:55 a.m., a 2023 Honda CRV was traveling west on I-270 near Lockbourne Road when it lost control and struck a 2021 Ford F-150 from behind.

Both vehicles then lost control and went off the north side of the road and into a ditch. The sheriff’s office said the driver of the Honda appeared to have lost control because of a medical condition.
