FRANKLIN, TN : Bicyclist killed in Franklin on Saturday, 16th December 2023

A bicyclist is dead after a vehicle crash in Franklin.

The accident involved that involved two bicyclists occurred shortly before Saturday morning on Mack Hatcher Memorial Parkway and Liberty Pike (Highway 96). The driver has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence, said the Franklin Police Department.

Names of the victim and suspect are not being released at this time.

Multiple first responders were at the scene, as well as the city's critical response unit, according to police.
