Huntington Beach, CA : A young boy was injured in a vehicle collision at American Lane and Aspen Green on Monday, 22nd August, 2016

The boy sustained injuries after he was hit by a red Mercedes on California Road, between the junction for American Lane and Aspen Green at about 4.20pm.
Cambridgeshire police, the East of England Ambulance Service and a Magpas response car were called to the incident.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “At the scene a young boy was treated for a serious head injury. After receiving treatment at the scene he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land
ambulance for further care in a serious condition.”
A Magpas spokesman added: “The Magpas medical team assessed the boy who had sustained head injuries. They then anaesthetised him at the scene.”
Police closed California Road while investigations into the collision were carried out earlier yesterday evening and the road was reopened just before 8pm.
Anyone who witnessed the collision should call 101 and ask to speak to Sergeant Steve Andrews or a member of the road policing unit.
