SPARTANBURG, SC : Coroner Greenville Co woman dies in crash in Spartanburg on Monday, 24th July 2023

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office is investigating a crash that left one woman dead and hospitalized another person on Monday night.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, around 6:40 p.m. a pickup truck was heading west on Good Join Road when it collided with a sedan who was heading north on Jug Factory Road at an intersection.
Troopers say the truck ran off the road and into a ditch and a fence but the driver was not injured. The sedan, however, spun several times and went off the road, ejecting both the driver and passenger who were not wearing seatbelts.
Officials say the driver was taken by EMS and airlifted to Spartanburg Medical Hospital while the passenger passed away on scene.
