Garrett County, MD : Driver dies in U.S. 219 crash on Tuesday, 25th February, 2020

One person was killed Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 219 in Garrett County, Maryland State Police said.

A Chevrolet Cruze operated by the unidentified victim was traveling northbound near Aiken Miller Road when it crossed the center line and struck a tractor-trailer head-on, ejecting the driver, police said.

Troopers aren't releasing the victim's name pending notification of family members.

The tractor-trailer was driven by Gary Suder, 39, of Bedford, Pennsylvania. He was not injured, police said.
