Topeka, KS : A woman was transported to a Topeka hospital after she was injured in a rear-end collision on Tuesday, 23rd July 2018

A woman was transported to a Topeka hospital after she was injured in a rear-end collision early Tuesday on the city’s south side, police said.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at 7:28 a.m. just north of 29th and S. Kansas Avenue.

Police at the scene said a black Jeep Wrangler collided with the rear of a gray Dodge Grand Caravan minivan as both vehicles were northbound in the 2800 block of S. Kansas Avenue.

The woman who was driving the minivan was to be taken to St. Francis Hospital by American Medical Response ambulance, police said. Her injuries weren’t believed to be serious. Two other occupants in the minivan were uninjured, police said.
