Adrian, MI : Adrian crash injures two at the intersection of Siena Heights Drive and North Main Street in Adrian on Wednesday, 19th September 2018

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Siena Heights Drive and North Main Street in Adrian sent two people to the hospital, one with serious injuries.

Michael John Baughey, 47, of Adrian was driving a post office vehicle east on Siena Heights Drive at 5:29 p.m. when he drove through the intersection on a red light and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by David Edmer Lacasse, 53, of Tecumseh, according to a report released Tuesday by the Adrian Police Department.

According to the report, Baughey was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken by Adrian Fire Department rescue personnel to an out-of-state hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Lacasse was taken by Adrian rescue personnel to ProMedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian for treatment of minor injuries.
