Hokes Bluff, AL : Police chase ends in Hokes Bluff crash that injures 3 people on Sunday, Aug 30, 2015
A police chase ended in a crash in Hokes Bluff that seriously injured three people.
Hokes Bluff Police Chief Mitchell Hill told Al.com that the chased started Sunday when a juvenile fled a traffic stop in Cherokee County. Hill said the suspect appeared to throw something out his window and drove away from police.
The chase continued into Etowah County. Around 3 p.m., the suspect's car hit the rear of a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup truck and her two daughters were injured. Hill said they were flown to UAB Hospital.
Police also took the suspect to the hospital for observation. He was then expected to be taken to the Coosa Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
