STATEN ISLAND, NY : One person left injured after accident in Dongan Hills on February, Tuesday 27th 2018

Emergency personnel responded Tuesday afternoon to an automobile accident in Dongan Hills that left one person injured.

EMS transported the injured person to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze after the incident occurred near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Husson Street at around 4:45 p.m., a spokesman for the FDNY said.

The spokesman could not elaborate on the nature of the patient's injuries.

The incident involved a black Nissan sedan and a grey Infiniti sedan. The front passenger side of the Infiniti and the driver-side door of the Nissan were damaged in the incident.

A fence was also damaged in the incident.
