One person sustained serious head injuries during a two-car collision in Union Township late Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
State police investigators from Corry and a medical helicopter were still at the scene of the crash as of 5:30 p.m., officials said. The helicopter will be transporting one person to UPMC Hamot, authorities said.
Two people were injured in the collision, which was reported in the 7700 block of Route 97 in Erie County shortly before 4:30 p.m. The severity of the injuries of the other person was unclear, officials said.
