Two people died in separate crashes in Central Florida overnight.
The first involved a pedestrian and happened at West New Haven Avenue and South John Rodes Boulevard in Melbourne around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Troopers found no evidence at the scene to identify the type of vehicle that hit and killed the 45-
year-old Melbourne man. Anyone who was in this area at the time should contact 407-737-2213.
Around the same time, emergency crews were sent to a crash at U.S. 301 and Southeast 125th Place in Belleview. One fatality was confirmed at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating both incidents.
