Laconia, N.H : Motorcyclist killed after early-morning crash in Laconia on June 21, 2014

Masachusetts motorcyclist has died after an early-morning crash in Laconia.

State troopers and officers responded to a report of an accident on Lakeside Avenue at Scenic Road Saturday at around 1:19 a.m.

Officials say the 2005 Harley Davidson driven by David Czarnota, 24, of North Reading, Massachusetts, left the west side of the roadway and crashed.

Czarnota, who was found severely injured, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

According to police, speed was likely a factor.
