Jonesboro, AR : Man killed in a one-car crash on County Road 114, just west of Parker Road on Monday night, January 18, 2016

The Craighead County Sheriff's Department has identified a man killed Monday night in a one-car crash.

The crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. on County Road 114, just west of Parker Road.

According to the incident report, a 2004 Cadillac DeVille driven by 42-year-old Jamie A. McPherson of Trumann ran off the road on a curve and went airborne before hitting a drainage ditch.

McPherson, according to the report, was thrown from the car.

Craighead County Deputy Coroner Stephen Bristow pronounced him dead at the scene.

McPherson's passenger, 53-year-old Jimmy M. Jones of Trumann, was taken to St. Bernards with unknown injuries.
